PROGRAMA AWASUKA: "Cuines sense fum per a tothom"

AWASUKA assisteix al Taller de Practical Action sobre "Cuines Sense Fum per Tothom" 

El passat divendres, 27 de setembre, el Programa AWASUKA va ser convidat al taller de clausura "Cuines Sense Fum: Solucions per a Tothom" organitzat per PRÀCTICAL ACTION a Katmandú. Vam tenir l’oportunitat de conèixer moltes altres entitats que també treballen aquest tema amb les que vam poder intercanviar opinions. Estem molt contents d’haver col·laborat amb Practical Action en la instal·lació de xemeneies a Bhimphedi, i també que el nostre treball de sensibilització hagi estat reconegut. Awasuka (Amics del Nepal, base A i CCD-UPC) i Club Rotary van ser mencionats en diverses presentacions, per haver arribat a molts beneficiaris en poc temps. Esperem que el projecte de Practical Action es pugui reiniciar en un futur proper, ja que moltes cases del Nepal encara pateixen contaminació interior de fums.

AWASUKA attends Practical Action's workshop "Clean Cooking Solutions For All"

Last Friday, September 27, the AWASUKA Program was invited to the Closing Workshop "Clean Cooking Solutions For All" organized by PRACTICAL ACTION in Kathmandu. We had the opportunity to meet many other entities that also work on this topic with which we could exchange views. We are very pleased to have collaborated with Practical Action in the chimney installation in Bhimphedi, and also that our awareness work has been recognized. Awasuka (Amics del Nepal, base-A and CCD-UPC) and Rotary Club were mentioned in several presentations, for having reached many beneficiaries in a short time. We hope that Practical Action project can be restarted in a near future, since many homes in Nepal still suffer from indoor pollution.
